Papa Legba belongs to the most important and mightiest Loa in the Voodoo. He is the guardian of the gate to the world of the Loa and with it also to the world of the people. This quality of him often appears in the everyday life, he leads that which confides in him, often to his borders - absolutely in positive regard. What has one, nevertheless, during one with Legba and what he "openly or unanimously" is confronted, does not note mostly for the moment.

 
Papa Legba can remove obstacles from the way and open ways which could not be walked before. However, he is also that of the doors can close if it time is to be freed itself of old person to open for new; but even if he has the feeling not to be taken seriously by you then the doors which would have better stayed open can also shut!
